Program Description

The Pastors in Training (PIT) cohort is the main component of the Tahoe Resident Leadership Program and exists to grow and guide aspiring leaders in their faith with God and their role in ministry.  The PIT program develops and equips the next generation of church leaders through experiential ministry training and provides participants with professional skills for planning, organizing, and developing Christian ministries. Our Pastors in Training experience a unique perspective on vocational ministry with opportunities in Next Gen, Kids, Tech, Missions, Worship, and Adult ministries. This is accomplished through real leadership roles on the team, serving alongside pastors and ministry leaders. Other facets of the PIT program include learning, service, mission trips, and spiritual mentorship.
